Estimate; The first step will be the vehicle inspection documenting the vehicle data and visible damage. Then enter this data into our computer database system to determine the estimated cost of repairs.
If an insurance company is involved they will review the estimate and photos to assure the vehicle is repairable. There may be some negotiation to reach a fair settlement on prices, parts, and procedures to require proper repair.
At this stage, we often find additional hidden damage that wasn’t visible until the parts are removed. The customer and/or the insurance company will need to be notified and may require a re-inspection, plus potentially ordering additional parts.
As soon as possible the parts need to be ordered so the repairs can begin.
Our trained technicians analyze and repair the unitized body back to specifications for proper fit. Replace inner structure and metal finishing that is required so exterior parts and sheet metal can be installed.
Preparation for painting involves several steps to assure good adhesion. Sanding, primer, sealers and maybe more sanding before the color coat is applied, and finally the top clear coat.
Headlights, moldings, trim and detail pieces are re-installed back on the car and checked for operation during this stage.
It is a body shop after all. We do get dust on the cars from the repairs. We clean the vehicle to remove the dust and polishing compounds. A road test may be necessary to ensure everything is working properly. Then a final inspection to assure the vehicle is restored to the pre-accident condition.
A: The insured must notify their insurance company, not the claimants. It is a good idea to contact your insurance company even if you are the claimant. Your insurance company is always there for you, if needed. If you are more comfortable using your insurance, by all means, call them. The insurance company involved does need to be notified. They require that they have the opportunity to inspect the damage before any repairs are made.

A: We accept Visa, Mastercard and Discover. We also accept cash, checks and bank checks. If the insurance company has issued you a check, the easiest and most convenient way to pay is simply just bring us that check. Please note...credit card transactions of $2500 or more, will require a 3% processing fee be added.
A: No, Ohio law requires only one estimate. Some insurance companies might ask you to get more than one, but it is not necessary.

Please let us know if you have received or will be receiving an estimate from the insurance company, as this may save you the trouble of having to come in and have us write an estimate for you. We can usually work with an insurance estimate to begin repairs.

A: No, not unless there are special circumstances or an older vehicle. .
A: Because each repair situation is different there isn’t a standard time period to make repairs. The time to repair is based on the extent of damage, availability of parts and the insurance timeliness. We can only estimate a time of completion and will notify you if additional damage is found that may require more time to repair.
A: Yes. The paint code from the manufacturer on your vehicle provides us with a formula to mix the paint for your car. We are constantly updating our equipment and training to ensure we have every advantage at our disposal. Note: The chemical make up of some auto paints can allow the color to fade and the surface to dull over time, in these situations it can make it very difficult for anyone to match. Blending into the adjacent panel typically eliminates a color match condition.
